CURRICULUM  VITAE:

Date and Place of Birth:  October 29, 1953, Kazakhstan

Marital status: married since 1975, two children

Citizenship: Kyrgyzian

Research Interests: Modern geodynamics, GPS, GIS, programming.

Major Accomplishments

  • Creation of the program system of geophysics processing in RS RAS.
  • Participation in designing of the GPS network for the territory of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Since 1999: planning and и management by GPS measurement works. Inculcation (in RS RAS) of the GPS processing programs GAMIT/GLOBK.
  • Organization of the exchange with the GPS data for Xinjian area of China.
  • Initialization of the project for creation of the GPS network in Tajikistan with Colorado University, University Montana and Tajik Institute of seismology.
  • Organization and holding of an International seminar “Methods of GPS measurements and processing” in Bishkek.
  • Participation in the Project with  Switzerland  Scientific Fund “Digital Geological Map of the Transition Zone between the Kyrgyz range and the Chu basin. Scale 1: 200 000”.

Professional Experience:

  • From 2007 - Head of department 4 "Technical infrastructures and data management"
  • 1999 - 2007: Head of the Laboratory of study of Crust Modern Motions by Space Geodesy, RS RAS.
  • 1986 – 1999: Senior Researcher, deputy chief of department, RS RAS.
  • 1978 - 1986: Senior Researcher, chief of department, deputy director of the Republican Branch Computer Center, the Ministry of Light Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
  • 1976 – 1978:  Military service.
  • 1975 – 1976:   Researcher, design office, the Ministry of Light Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Education:

  • 1975 -Tomsk institute of the automatized control systems and radio electronics, Control system faculty.
  • 2001 - PhD (Moscow).
