Education:
In 2007 graduated from the Faculty of Geography and Ecology of the KNU named after Zh. Balasagyn. Specialty - ecology. Graduated from the postgraduate course of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (2016-2019).
Work experience:
Since 2008– currently works in the Department No. 2 "Climate, Water and Natural Resources" at the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences (CAIAG), holding the positions of engineer, junior researcher and researcher.
He is constantly involved in field expedition work, has surveyed and made observations on a number of glaciers of the Tien Shan and Pamir-Alai.
Work and cooperation in projects:
In CAIAG within the framework of international and joint projects, such as "Observatory of Global Changes in Central Asia" (OPO - Global Observatory of Changes in Central Asia, since 2009), "Water in Central Asia" (CAWA - "Water in Central Asia", 2008 - 2016), "Capacity building and Climate Monitoring Service" (CATCOS - "Capacity building and integration of climate monitoring systems", 2013 - 2015), "Cryosphere climate data to improve adaptation" (cicada – "Climate services of cryospheric ice to improve adaptation", 2017-2020), "Adaptation to climate change based on an ecosystem approach in high-altitude areas of Central Asia" (EBA - "Ecosystem-based adaptation to climate change in high-altitude areas of Central Asia", 2016-2020), etc.
Actively cooperates and works in the study of modern glaciation, the climate of high-altitude zones both with scientists of Kyrgyzstan and with scientists abroad – the Geographical Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Institutes of Water Problems and Hydropower of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tadjikistan, with the GFZ (Potsdam, Germany), the Universities of Fribourg and Zurich (Switzerland), Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany), etc.
The main direction of scientific research is glaciology: the regime and dynamics of glaciers, the climate of high-altitude zones and water resources.
