The Kyrgyz Republic's Country Climate and Development Report Was Presented

On the 4^th of December, Ulan Asylbekovich Abdybachaev, Асting Head of the Geodynamics and Georisks Department at the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences, participated in the presentation of the Kyrgyz Republic's Country Climate and Development Report.

The purpose of the Country Report is to inform and create a basis for collaboration on strengthening climate resilience, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, transitioning to low-carbon development, and promoting economic growth in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The meeting created conditions for dialogue among government officials, scientists, experts, and international partners, disseminating best practices in climate program implementation, and exchanging opinions on adaptation to our country.

Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, along with Hugh Riddell, World Bank Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic, addressed remarks to the participants.

The event was organized by the World Bank Country Office in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
