Moldobekov Bolot, Co-Director of the Central Asian Institute of Applied Geosciences (CAIAG), participated in the workshop on defining the order of creation of the Third Pole Climate Forum

In the period from 7 to 9 November 2023, co-director of the Central Asian Institute of Applied Geosciences (CAIAG) Moldobekov Bolot participated in the workshop on scoping the establishment of the Third Pole Climate Forum, organized by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in Bangkok, Thailand.

The workshop on scoping the establishment of the Third Pole Climate Forum (TPCF) and the meeting of the Task Force on the establishment of a network of regional climate centers of the Third Pole was organized with the participation of representatives of WMO, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, as well as national, regional and international climate experts.

The Bangkok workshop was a significant milestone in strengthening international cooperation and exchange of experience in climate research.
