An exhibition dedicated to the Hungarian researcher Gyula Prinz has opened in Bishkek
On July 28, the Hungarian Embassy in Bishkek, with the support of Szegedi University (Szegedi Tudomanyegyetem) and the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences, organized the opening of the exhibition "Gyula Prince: Travels of a Hungarian Geographer to the Tien Shan in 1906 and 1909".
The guests of the exhibition were greeted by Charge d'affaires of the Hungarian Embassy, Deputy Head of Mission Andrey Bukai, Professor, Doctor of Geological Sciences, leading researcher at the CAIAG Sheyshenaly Usupaev, Professor, Dr. Kadyraly Konkobayev, Professor, Dr. Cholpon Turdaliyeva, Rector of BSU Mirlan Dyldaev.
Sheyshenaly Eshmanbetovich noted the difference between Gyula Prince's approach and the relevance of his scientific works for comparative analysis.
The exhibition features photographs and drawings from the archive of the Hungarian geographer's expeditions, and visitors will also be able to see the scientific works of Kyrgyz researchers of CAIAG.
The exhibition is open at the National Historical Museum until September 6.
