Co-director of CAIAG B. Moldobekov took part in the regional meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the countries of Central Asia

From August 13 to August 15, 2024, a regional forum-meeting of the heads of emergency departments of Central Asian countries was held in Cholpon-Ata. Co-director of the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences (CAIAG) B. Moldobekov took part in this forum, where participants discussed issues of coordinating actions to strengthen regional cooperation to reduce the risks of disasters and emergencies.

The meeting was also attended by members of the delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, headed by Minister Chingis Arinov, the delegation of Tajikistan, headed by the first deputy chairman of the Committee on Emergency Situations and Civil Defense Latifzoda Khotamsho Latif, the Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan Abdulla Kuldashev, representatives of UN agencies and others.
