Second Hindu Kush Himalaya Science-Policy Forum: Climate and Cryosphere Crisis

Co-director of the Central Asian Institute of Applied Geosciences (CAIAG) Moldobekov B.D. took an active part in the “Second Hindu Kush Himalaya Science-Policy Forum: Climate and Cryosphere Crisis”. The event was organized by the International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and took place from 21 to 22 September 2023.

At the forum, which brought together leading experts, scientists and politicians from around the world, CAIAG Co-Director Moldobekov actively discussed important issues. His participation allowed him to share his own research and experience.

The ICIMOD Forum has become a significant event for the global scientific and policy community, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and the development of concrete solutions aimed at a sustainable future for the Hindu Kush Himalaya region and the planet as a whole. Moldobekov's participation highlighted the role of CAIAG in global research.
