Nargiza Shaidyldayeva Participated in an International Seminar on Water Diplomacy

In the lead-up to the 4th international conference in Dushanbe, a seminar entitled "Promoting Cooperation on Shared Water Resources: Concepts and Approaches for Building Trust and Interaction" was held from May 22-24.

During this seminar a research fellow in the Climate, Water, and Geoecology Department of CAIAG Nargiza Shaidyldayeva was awarded a certificate by Professor Kaveh Madani, laureate of the Stockholm Water Prize (Water Nobel), as a member of the regional network "Women in Water Diplomacy".

During the forums "Water and Women" and "Transboundary Water Cooperation," and the side event "Women Parliamentarians of Central Asia: Leadership in Advancing the Water Agenda for Sustainable Development," she addressed current issues through questions and questions.

According to her, the conference marked a transition from a declaration of intent to rigorous monitoring of commitments.

"The goal of the 4th conference is to summarize the results of the International Decade for Action (2018–2028) and develop a roadmap for Central Asia and the global community in the face of accelerating climate change and melting glaciers. The role of this conference is to catalyze real investment in green infrastructure and cross-border cooperation", - concluded Nargiza Myktybekovna.
